Technical Track 12: Advanced Optical Imaging (AOI)
Advanced Optical Imaging (AOI) has become a hot topic in the society of optics and photonics in recent years. This is owing to the delightful developments and persistent advances in metamaterials, micro-nano fabrications, optical field manipulations, computational optics and sub-wavelength optics. AOI shows significant roles and applications in scientific research, biomedical diagnosis, environment monitoring, industrial manufacturing and even automatic control, etc. This topic focuses on sharing latest advances and trends in optical imaging technologies, devices and instruments, including but not limited to structural light imaging, THz imaging, optical coherent tomography (OCT) imaging, polarimetric imaging, super-resolution/diffraction/oscillation imaging, turbid/scattering-medium imaging, and computational imaging, etc. This track will provide a face-to-face communication platform for scientists, engineers, researchers and students in optical communities.
